Root [International Tegra 3] Network Unlock with an Unlocked Bootloader

Mrs Presidente is getting my One X, but she's O2 and my handset is locked to Orange so I plan on visiting one of the repair shops in town to see if they can unlock it for me.

I'm guessing no, but as I've no idea how the network unlock process works, does it make a difference if I've an unlocked bootloader and running a custom ROM? Has anyone done it in the past?

Hi El Presidente i used these people when i first got mine . It was locked to 02 . your bootloader state does not matter. There are lots out there to chose from. Once they give you the code put it in your phone and away you go on any network. Mobile Unlock Direct - Unlock your mobile. Unlock Nokia, unlock samsung, unlock motorola, unlock sony and more

I am also told that there are some on ebay that do it also .

Sorted now, ended up going the ebay route and was given a working code within minutes. One of the shops in town was going to charge
