Root [International] Titanium backup-dumb question

Been using Ti backup for ages, both on the S3 and the desire, but I can't seem to find an easy way to do what I want, which is, simply to backup ONLY user apps and Data, then restore (eg after flashing a new rom) ONLY user apps and data.

Lots of options there, but I can only restore by going through the app list and individually selecting the ones Inwant, otherwise it restores all the old rom system apps.

Am I being really dumb here?

If you look at the top right hand of the screen, there's a little box with a tick in it. That's the batch menu and from there it has a big list of commands, and you're looking for 'backup all user apps and data'. When you flash a new ROM you can go back to that menu and there is a category called Restore and you can restore missing apps and data

^sorry if the above is not what you're after

Personally I recommend backing up EVERYTHING, even if you do not intend to restore everything, its good to have.

For restore, I do this...

Backup/Restore
Click to Edit Filters
Untick System & Uninst.
Green tick
Press batch tick icon...
Restore missing apps with data / Restore all apps with data

Since you unticked system, neither of these options will restore system apps or data. But its good to keep these incase you accidentally wipe or something...
