S3. Did you get the 4.3 update? Then don't do anything.
Did you not get the update. Then don't accept it. (I can't stress that enough - the 4.3 update to the S3 is a bug, not an update.) And unless there's an overriding reason to reset the counter (like you reflashed the stock ROM to send it in for repair), don't risk it. Why risk anything if there's no gain? (Having a 0 flash counter gets you only one thing - repair by Samsung.)

Mate the i9300 4.3 update is fine aside from the fact it activates knox.
Ive never used TA op so i dont know what that error means.
Are you using it for warranty purposes?
If you already have the 4.3 bootloader then theres no point in using TA as Rukbat says as far as i know but it certainly wont do any harm

I should have mentioned that I'm on 4.3 (and yes, the 'update' screwed up my phone and it had to go for repairs). I wanted to reset the flash counter so it's ready for a repair, should that day reappear. Cos what if my phone goes wrong to the extent that I can't run TA?

I'm on an L710 MK5 with CM11 Android 4.4.2. I just used Triangle Away and it reset my counter but don't think it does anything to the Knox counter. I'm thinking maybe the 4.3 update has both the counter and the Knox counter as well. Samsung sure is locking shit down on us.
EDIT: Reset my counter with triangle away and booted into download mode to find its still at warranty counter 1. So the MK5 update has a flash counter and Knox counter. Hope someone finds this useful.

Yeah triangle away can do nothing about the knox counter mate 
Its military grade security so i doubt if it will be cracked.
Time to leave samsung when we buy our next phone imo :thumbup:
