HTC one is rooted with bootloader locked. The google play store doesn't work as it won't let me create or use an existing account, comes up with cannot communicate with google servers.
Now I cant even unroot my device as when its in fastboot mode its not recognised by my laptop. My laptop only has 2 3.0 usb ports and I think this might be the problem.
This is kind of urgent for me as i've saved all my contacts and details on helium backup but cant acess it due to the play store error.
At the moment I really don't care about it being rooted/unrooted just about the fact that i've lost my contacts.
The whole reason I factory reset in the first place was because I was having issues with the built in microphone
