Root [International] TWRP Stuck HTC one

Hi all


I have followed this guide to unlock and root my HTC one unlocked in the uk.

Bootloader unlocked just fine.

However its come to the swipe to unlock under twrp and its stuck.


I have held the power button down for 10 seconds and even 30 seconds or longer and nothing

When I hold the power button down the bottom lights flash but that's it.
I cant switch the phone off or reboot, any help appreciated.

Edit: Just tried the hard reset volume down and power and that doesn't work either.

Please any suggestions.

Try TWRP 2.6.0.1, I needed it so that touchscreen worked in recovery.

How do i even get that on the phone?
I cant switch it off, no usb either

Somebody on another forum recommended holding the power button under a bright light and it only worked!!!

Just keep power button and volume down pressed long enough. I had same thing once, lights were blinking but nothing else happened until after long time phone restarted.

I know it sounds weird, but the phone also needs to be in a well lite area .. the proximity sensor in the dark will keep the phone from rebooting. Just so you know..
