Root [International] Validus 6.0!!!

No probs mate. What gapps you usin?
U had ANY bug or FC yet? To me it's far more stable than stock and try a quadrant test with art yet? I hit nearly 6800 man.

U know what changes are in 4.4.4 mate?

Thanks FL, I just now got an old spare pc fired up and running using a live ubuntu cd. My PSU on my pc died, I got a new one, but it seems it's taken the mobo with it, so it looks like a new mobo, cpu and ram on the shopping list, and maybe a case too! Oh well, it's only money, eh?:p. Glad about this new rom tho, downloading as I type :). Will let you know how it performs. If it's anything like its predecessor ;), it should be great!

Hmm, installed after wipe, rebooted a couple of times, then flashed stock 4.4.4 gapps. Rebooted to be greeted with " Unfortunately Google keyboard has stopped". Reflashed gapps only have "Google play store has stopped" as well!grr. Looked at Banks minimal gapps, but there's 6 to choose from and didn't know which one to go for.
Back on previous version now. Any advice?
PS. Thought the clowns were going.....;)?

Had some troubles flashing this one. Android UI fails.
Took several reboots after a complete clean wipe.
Couldn't get it to take; so I dirty flashed over the top of itself...that seems to work.

Using Banks' latest Gapps and all exposed mods are working. Only problem I have is can't get chromecast to connect on all the supported apps. I'll work on that; maybe just need to clear the individual caches.

Just need to find how to get my old 'Logcat' boot animation to work and get rid of the bloody clown!!

What the best Kernel to run with this as I'm used to Boeffla??

Hey funky can you recommend a really good stable asop 4.4 rom? I need something that's quick and reliable that won't crash.

Can asop roms be customized to have more of a touch wiz look. Not a fan of the whole black look of asop

The TW versions of 4.4 which I thought were great are pretty sluggish

Btw I take it using 'mega wipe' to delete my data is fine when installing a new rom?

But a 4.4.4 version of Touchwiz doesn't even exist yet...

By the way, I'm pretty sure 'ok google everywhere' works on 4.3...

This isnt touchwiz bro and 'ok google everywhere" doesnt work on banks gapps except the modded ones I'm uploading now.
Won't be long uploadfromtaptalk1405034278855.jpg

I recommend the rom this thread is about mate even though I'm off the team.
It has a theme engine so you can search "cm theme" on Play, find one you like and drastically change the look of the UI

Ok, I'm asking. ;p

Lol ok I know this seems unbelievable but it's Google were talking about lol
Open the search app, do a search for "OK Google everywhere'
That's it, scroll down to settings, voice and you'll have new options as if by magic uploadfromtaptalk1405136380764.jpg
AFAIK it only works with US English which is fine with me because it understands me perfectly and UK English doesn't lol

Does OK Google everywhere cane the battery though?

Nah mate I used CPU spy to check that out and the cpu sits idle.
It's not like it's always listening whilst the screen is off, that would cane the battery on an s3

I've flashed this along with funky's modified Bank's gapps and all is well apart from one thing, and I can't get to the bottom of it.

OK Google doesn't work. It responds and opens and interprets what I'm saying but then it force closes with the message "Unfortunately, Google Search has stopped."

Strangely, if I use the app Open Mic+ to give me the "everywhere" functionality, OK google works and throws up a search list.

Any ideas anyone?
