Root [International] Wallpapers

I use folders for my apps and shortcuts so only need the 1 screen. Is anyone else in the same situation and trying to get wallpapers to fit? height 800 x width of 480? Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh, so frustrating. O have tried reconfiguring pics to allow for the box that is inevitably plced on any you want to use as a wallpaper. Then you find you can only see the edge because the pic is expected to be spread across 3 - 5 screens? Suggestions please before I throw my phone against the wall

I use holo hd launcher which allows me to select non scrolling wallpaper and to select a portrait shaped part of the image (is that what you want? )

This launcher also allows folders full of apps and 1x1 widgets in the scrolling dock.
