Root [International] Way to make an app think im on wifi?

Its rediculous that UK tv channel 4's app only works on wifi. is there a work-around?

Sometimes the app can be decompiled and a line of code changed. Google for the app and "wifi fix" or something

They need it to work on 3G. If I was using wifi to watch 4od, I would most probably be at home, where I have a computer or a TV to watch it instead

Yep. There's usually a modified version somewhere though. Before iplayer went mobile data, I was using a modified version. There was even a guide somewhere where all you had to to was decompile and change some text in a file from true to false or something

Its cool, the 4od website wasnt workin for me on Dolphin but it works on Firefox.. strangely iPlayer is the opposite lol!
The iplayer app is shocking picture quality. They should have an option for higher end phones with unlimited data i think

Yeah theres a great modded youtube app that plays full HD (not just HQ) over 3g and keeps playing while u multitask or turn screen off. (Anyone got that actually? I lost my copy) :beer:
