Root [International] Which Touch Wiz ROM is the best?

So I finally decided to flash a custom Touch Wiz ROM. I want to ask which one is the best? know they're pretty similar but I previously flashed Omega and wasn't very happy. Which one should I flash?

I mainly want it to be same as the stock but giving me the options to customise things like status bar and notification toggles and lockscreen effect.

Does it have CRT effect? Also can you change the round circle battery icon in the status bar to stock one?
Plus is the version for 4.2.1 out yet? For Omega it's out. I can't wait for those features.
 
Im not sure how stable/reliable the 4.2 based roms are yet mate. Im not ready to flash one anyway
 
I'm not sure if it has crt off or not because I flash themed mods that include it anyway.

Every rom is themable.

I'm on omega 4.2.1. Not becausevi like omega but because I need it for testing. There is a wanam version but he didn't think it stable so he didn't complete it

The CRT effect isn't in any stock rom, so it would need to be added into the ROM by the dev, although this can be flashed easily if you want it.

I too like the stock battery icon, I don't really care for the circle battery. If you flash a rom that doesn't have a stock icon, you can also very easily flash it so it goes back to normal. Let me know if you need it at all and I'll send you a link to the zip file
 
im using omega 4.2.1 also its quite nice i am waiting for sale to give us an aroma mod for neatrom 4.2.1 then will shift back to neatrom.

Yeah its OK. I found the Kernel in Neat to be a drain. It is in Omega too, but not as much. My problem with Omega is even with the "remove bloatware" option, there is a ridiculous amount of bloatware installed. Loads of crap I don't want or need.
 
like what? I sat and manually disabled all the sammy crap thats on it which made the battery life a lot better. Like i said i much prefer neatrom just saw on his official thread on xda he is on holiday and will return 15th which i think is the same day that the annoucement of the s4 would be(which i am assuming they will officially release 4.2.1 with that)
 
Didn't have any of that with NeatRom 4.2.1

I cna tell when i get new stuff, because they don't automatically fall into my Go Launcher app drawer folders. There's loads more with Omega. Whether its touchwiz or not (some is, some isnt) its all bloat to me ;)
 
Yeah i prefer to choose my own apps. Dont really see the point in having stuff pre installed on a rom other than tweaking apps for it. Even the sammy crap should be optional
 
Didnt know u were a Go Launcher man mate. Is it that new payed one?
I was on Go for years until Nova Prime went on sale for 25p :)

Are you happy with Omega? Also is it different from Wanam Lite? If it isn't I might aswell go for Omega.

Not "happy", no. I don't like omega. I much prefer wanam. I just need 4.2.1 for "development" reasons and the omega 4.2.1 is more complete.

For 4.1.2, I'd recommend latest wanam lite (6.2). Fast, stable and light.

Is Wanam going to release 4.2.1 version? If so I'll wait for it...
And would you recommend me flashing Omega temporarily? So for 4.2.1 and then move to Wanam?
 
im still on Neat Rom Lite 1.6 with Siyah kernel n i honestly cant fault it. No bugs whatsoever. Im just gona wait on a nice stable 4.2 touchwiz based rom :)
 
you can get neatrom 1.7 which is stable and fast its available on this site only or u can visit the main thread on xda. Make sure u get the main lite rom and the aroma installer it lets u configure everything thats installed on the phone(kernel, battery icon, recovery etc).

Wanam already has a 4.2.1 rom available.

@SU since u are not happy with omega 4.2.1 have u tried out NetRom 4.2.1 it might be more stable and better? He has already posted a link in his thread.

@Funky sale is on holiday from what i have read and we should get a good rom from him after 15th.

So now I'm stuck! Wanam or Neat ROM? I want a stable ROM! not one with the bugs! I want that I can use as daily driver. CM10 was buggy and made me go back to stock. So again Wanam or Neat?
