Hopefully I haven't missed a thread that has already covered this but I did check and couldn't find one.
Earlier today I "succesfully" rooted my phone following the method in the sticky using Odin/CWM as instructed. The root seemed to go through fine and I subsequently installed the CM Zoom 0.9 ROM.
I am also using the Apex Launcher if this is relevant.
However when I try to drag a widget to my home screen I get the following error:
"Sorry
Due to the limitations of Android framework, you cannot add widgets from the drawer without root access"
Tried a couple of weather widgets and both gave the same error. Launched SuperSU(no idea if you have to) but it made no difference.
I assume I am just making some really basic mistake, but any help would be much appreciated.
