Internet Connection Problem

I have recently started using andro my phone is micromax A89 it is a dual sim phone but the problem with it is as soon as i switch on the 2G connection and lock the phone it automatically gets transferred to the 3G one.

Hi Kumar23 - welcome to the forums!

3G is actually a better connection than 2G.

If you go to "settings=>wireless & networks=>mobile networks" (you may need to go to "more" then "mobile networks")... you should be able to check a "use only 2G networks" box, if that's what you would prefer?
