SUSS

Well-Known Member
For the last few weeks iv been having problems with my internet connection.

Sometimes its fine yet others it switches itself off, it can sometimes get the H but if it ever switches to 3G it goes off then a random time later comes back.

Its very patchy at best.

Im on Vodafone in the UK.

anyone have any ideas? i have already done a factory reset incase it was an app but no joy.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

No 3rd Party apps controlling the connection at all? Also, in the Wireless and Networks settings, there's an option for always on Mobile Data, is that checked?

I have green power running, but thats all. the option for always on is checked yes.

3g just doesnt work:mad: H does:D just frustrating.

Know there is some #*#*xxxx thing you can change, any idea if that makes a difference?

*#*#4636#*#*

Head to Phone Information, then scroll down to the pull down menu towards the bottom of the page.

The 2nd post here give a list of what each of the options do, so have a play about, see which is the most stable.

Hang on though, H is the HSDPA which is 3.5G this is faster than 3G so thats a good thing.

Thanks mate, really appreciate this.

Sorry to be a pain but is there a thread that explains what the other buttons on that screen do?

Are you still having issues, did none of the alternative options work you?
