Internet security, Is there any?

As I was about to log into my bank using the stock internet browser on my EVO, I realized the banks site is a secure site. But I'm not sure about the EVO browser.

Is it safe to input my account number and passwords into the EVO browser?

My bank (Credit Union) has not come into the 21st century and released an app for anything yet.

So I don't want to risk my account for a matter of convenience.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Just my opinion, but the way I look at it you shouldn't risk it on a device such as your "Smart Phone". No matter what device you're using it is risky, even when you're at home using your desktop, but it's even MORE risky using a Smart Phone. Again, just MHO.
