internet usage app

Ok, so i have downloaded the Onavo app to monitor my data and thought all was going swimmingly until i checked MYORANGE usage, aparently Iv used 636mb in 15 days but my Onavo is saying only 395 MB used! a hell of a difference im sure you will agree.

iv seen others have had this problem but their doesnt seem to be any answer? I thought Onavo was a trusted app but perhaps not

I was on the phone to orange at the time and i was telling the operator i couldnt possibly of used the amount of data they had said (iv been taking daily screenshots on Onavo) and he told me to write in to their complaints and my information was incorrect!!!!!

Some apps only count downloaded data, whereas Orange (and most other network providers) include all data usage, up and down. I used to use the Network Usage app and iirc it displays totals for both up and down as well as giving the same info on a per-app basis.

I would also like to add that in the latest Android (Android 4.0 ICS) there is a built-in usage monitor for data (up and down), phone, and text messages.
