Help Internet via USB

I recently bought Samsung Galaxy S which is a superb phone to say the least.
I have only one query. Can I connect to the internet on this phone by connecting it to my PC via an USB cable. My PC is already broadband connected.
I do not have wi-fi or 3G at present.
Kindly guide....

Yes Ninad you can do that.. After connecting USB go to settings -> Wireless & Network -> Tethering and check USB Tethering.. and you should be able to access net on your PC.. and uncheck it when not required,
