how do I use my galaxy s to act as an internet connection?via my computer
I have a mobile provider that allows me internet access:cool:
 
Go to Settings > Wireless and network > Tethering and connect your phone to your PC via USB then tap USB tethering. You can now use your phone's internet connection to surf the web.

You can also use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot to allow other devices to access the internet via your phones 3G connection by tapping Mobile AP. Then on your other Wi-Fi enabled device do a scan and connect with your SGS to share it's connection.
