Hi, I am loving the S3 however, when I go onto the internet, the screen goes darker...I have been into numerous shops but nobody can help. I am sure it is to help with battery life, but I cant see whats on the screen if i am outside so it is making it a bit useless...anyone solved this yet??

Go to settings > Power Saving > Uncheck Background color. That's typically what does it.

There is a separate brightness setting for the browser. It is distinct from the brightness setting for the main phone. Once you launch the browser, hit the bottom left button to bring up the settings functions, and scroll down a little bit until you see brightness. Here you can adjust the browswer brightness.

Thank you - that has fixed it - it is a shame that it goes back to the darker setting after you come out of it - thank goodness I can see the screen details now - thank you sooooooo much
