Intro and Q

Hey Everyone,

My name is Jeremy, and I'm a huge android smartphone fan. I don't have all of the priveleges most people do, such as internet (besides at work), cable, newspaper, and all that jazz... so I use my Droid2. I'm always looking for something new and interesting to do such as apps and new software.

Right now I'm having a small issue with it, however. My friend was trying to coach me on how to root my phone as well as upgrade to a different type of rom. Liberty I believe. Right now I can only run my phone in safe mode because of an error pop-up that comes around every time I turn my phone on. It says something about a failed attempt to run rom launcher com.koushikdutta.launcher2 and won't allow me any further access to my home screen so I can try to delete it. If anyone has any suggestions, or is 100% confident in their solution and can gie me step by step instructions... HELP IS REALLY NEEDED!
