I really need to know what a "parsing error" means, and is. How can you not teach me after all the nice things I said of you?! Amirex

Welcome to the forums, Amirex.

Generally speaking, parsing errors are most often encountered by coders who have mis-typed or otherwise entered incorrect language. As a compiler attempts to read or translate the code, it is halted by such an error and the error message is generated.

Glad you came aboard. Have a look around, this place is pretty big and there are a lot of interesting sections to look at.

Just to clarify, a "compiler" is not a person, but a portion of the system/programming that transforms source code into a 2nd computer language.

I didn't want you to think it was some doood sitting at a computer doling out error messages.
