Just signed up. I was attracted to Android by the Linux connection and the relative openness of the platform. Switched from Verizon to T-Mobile as soon as my contract was up so I could have an Android phone (which sounds funny today), but also for GSM (for Europe). Still happy with the G-1 and wondering what benefits of upgrading will be.
