Hi guys I just had to register to get some feedback and opinions in options for myself.

I preface this by letting you guys know I currently am running on ATT with an iPhone 4 and a grandfathered unlimited plan. Contract ends in summertime and am looking towards android as something different to have.

Big reason for me is the flexibility to have a bigger sized display (3.5" is horrible for my blind eyes).

And it's interesting I mention that bc the two phones which intrigue me the most are the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S2.

Which would be better to get ... I work/live within the OC/Inland Empire area of CA so service ATT wise for me is kind of meh... but then again my unlimited plan is what keeps me with them

I'm looking into either
1) Note 649.99 no contract agreement with monthly plan (is that the same as what I'm paying for iPhone or will it be converted to something else and cancel it out? ...someone in the store mentioned it was 20-30 bucks a month (maybe thats prepaid go phone or something) ... I really would like to buy off contract and use their LTE 4g network (though I've read eh results speed wise for my area)

or
2) Galaxy S2 no contract with Tmobile and use their 35/mo plan which is like 100 mins and unlimited data/text (read fine print says 5gb cap i think which is probably beyond what I would reach in a month honestly) <<<maybe thats why att enjoys my service bc I won't use unlimited to the high spectrum end as some users are and getting throttled.

Just wanted to ask that upfront and any CA users I would appreciate your input as far as coverage and speeds
Thanks guys!

Both phones have a great following... they must be solid. As for provider, that's a regional issue that you likely have the best answer. I will provide a link to the discussion areas for each of the two devices mentioned. I suggest you pop in and read up.. you have time to make a very educated purchase. It's impossible to recommend a phone to someone.. everyone's desires vary. With the information here you should be able to know which phone is YOU before your purchase. Thanks for joining and I hope you will continue to use these forums for your Android questions.
