Introducing myself

Hi all, this seems like a vibrant helpful community full of android users here. I am a recent blackberry abandonee due mostly in part to their overall suckiness and archaic feel. One month after I bought my Tour 9630 last year they switched to all touch-pad type BBS so I couldn't even upgrade to the newest OS because it was "optimized" for touch-pad.

I hope to be able to contribute something here once I get the feel for my EVO4g...there seems to be a lot to learn about this phone.

Anyhow hello to all and thanks for this great resource...

If anyone has any recommendations for specific threads that may be of interest to new EVO peeps that'd be great

It is a shame that blackberry went down the road they did. For quite awhile blackberry was the king of smartphones and I think they took that for granted and did not do much to innovate in their new products. Meanwhile apple and android have taken over and rightly so. RIP RIM. ( I loved my bb pearl)
