Introduction... CharlieJ, a BB Convert to Droid

I just found the forums... and this website.

Why am I here? I just bought a VZW Moto Droid last night. I'm a crackberry convert. In a little less than 24 hours, I have already decided the Droid was a great choice over a BB Tour or Curve.

My expertise is more in photography and computers, but I'm learning more about phones and apps, etc as I go along. I hope to be a helpful contributor and member of the community.

THANKS Howie! I actually had the BB Pearl 8130 from Alltel. Prior to that, I had a Moto V710. My wife currently has a BB Curve and our oldest daughter has an HTC Touch Pro. So, we have a variety of phones in the family.

Thus far, I've added:
Barcode Scanner
ShopSavvy
Amazon.com
Shazam
Listen
My Verizon

...and Yahoo mail (free account)

Of course, I'm using Gmail, my Google Calendar and the other Google Apps already on the phone. I've been a Google Calendar user for more than a year now.
