Hi, folks, I am New_&_ignorant. New at Android and ignorant at almost everything.
I enjoy learning, though, and do not mind asking questions. My problem is that I think in Spanish and have to translate my thoughts to English before I speak. Some people think that I think deeply before I speak, and believe that I am quite wise, but that is not true, truth is I am quite slow. Sometimes, when someone says something, I have to translate what they said, think what I want to say, translate it, and then say it. So, if I did not really understood what they say, I try to repeat word by word exactly what they said. I have had people look at me and say, "My gosh, you are right, I never saw it that way! No wonder you are a pastor!" And then they go away so happy! and I stay so confused, because I know that I did not say anything deep or wise, so I question myself if I messed it up when I tried to repeat what they said. "What did I really say?" So I pray and thank God because He placed in my lips the words that person needed to be happy.
