introduction

I was an ol' bachelor (not deliberately--That's just the way it worked out.) until my mid-30s, when I met and married a special lady who--likewise--had never been married. She had been going through Oklahoma Christian College at the time I was at Southwestern Oklahoma State, and the many ways our life paths had crossed without us meeting up to that point are amazing! One example: When we began talking about getting married, I mentioned one of the guys I would like to ask to be in the wedding, and Dawn got a peculiar look on her face before replying, "How do you know HIM??? His wife and I were roommates in college".
Our happy day was a day marked by a tragedy elsewhere in the world. It was still August 30, 1997 on this side of the world when Princess Diana of Wales was in a fatal car wreck.
Our first daughter--Bailee Dawn--was born on MOTHER'S DAY of '99 (less than a week after my parents lost their home in the infamous May 3rd tornado outbreak). Quincee Grace Marie actually came home from the hospital on FATHER'S DAY of '04, after being born on June 17.
SOOOoooo....I'm a guy with kids young enough to be my grandkids!...but I can sit back and laugh at some things that would have totally STRESSED ME OUT at 23!!!
I'm outnumbered 3 to 1--and lovin' it!
After all, it's not MY name that needs to be spread in this world...Right???

Welcome to Android Forums. It's very nice to meet you. Super intro by the way.
I'm nearing 60 and have a daughter 21 so I know where you are coming from. I had three girls and a boy.. the boy married into a family and will have no children of his own. You are right about the name.. it's the quality of person you bring to the world.
