Hi all;

I'm a long time Apple guy and recently have come to the realization that Apple isn't all that! I just assumed that Apple had the best product until recently when I went into AT&T to look at phones (I'm going to upgrade from my iPhone 3G) and started playing with the Galaxy S3. Wow! The big screen, the fast web loading (although the iPhone 5 will probably solve that problem), the Android OS (with so many ways to tweak it; can't do that with iOS). The more I look at Android the more I realize I've been in the dark just a bit too long. And now that the iPhone 5 came out (what a big disappointment!) I'm probably going to go with the S3, but I'll be looking through the forum to get a better idea of user comments on this phone before finally deciding.
Anyway just wanted to say hi and looking forward to becoming an Android user!

Welcome to Android Forums Ranex.:)

Check out the S3 forum here:Samsung Galaxy S3 - Android Forums

First things first remember that this is a support forum so read threads with a little skepticism as often folks only post when something is not working to their liking. For each of these there may be hundreds or thousands of folks that don't have an issue.

I hope you come to the decision that is best for you with regards to choosing an OS.

Welcome Ranex! We love hearing that Android has a possible convert and we hope to see you around the site!

Hello and welcome to Android Forums, Ranex! :)

We have a lot of iPhone users and ex-iPhone users in the forums in the forums that will be happy to help you over the hurdles of moving to a new platform. When you're ready to pull the trigger, just let us know and we'll show you all the cool things you never knew were possible (and all the workarounds for those things you thought were standard on every phone).

Either way, we're here to help. :D

Yes... welcome to Android Forums Ranex :)

Always nice to have a (possible) convert sign up! I am sure that you would like the S3... the sub-forum that Unforgiven has linked is very active, so you should find it a useful link :)

Hope you like what you see here on AF... if you need any help navigating the forums, hit one of us guides up :D
