introduction

Hi guys,

My name's Frank and I've had my htc thunderbolt for 2 years. I joined this forum to stay informed on the latest and greatest from the android world. =)

Should i root my phone? I'll search some threads on rooting my thunderbolt if you guys think it's necessary. I don't wanna get a new phone cos i don't wanna lose my unlimited data plan.

Welcome to the forums, Frank! :hello:
Rooting is all up to the individual person. What do you want to achieve with your phone?
I heard the Tbolt just received (or is currently) ICS which is great!
I'd recommend visiting the Tbolt root subforum for any advice on rooting it or any specific details you need:
Thunderbolt - All Things Root - Android Forums
Enjoy the site, cheers!

Good looking out, bro. :)

To be honest the tbolt works great in stock condition, but i'm not a very techie guy, so I'll read up on rooting on the subforum like you suggested.

Thanks, dreadnatty08
