Hey guys I am completly new to the android, I made the switch from my pos iphone to a GS4 and am currently loving it. Any tips would be much appreciated.

Good evening (at least it is here in So. Cal)
I am a total novice to the Smartphone aka Android OS.
I have 2 dumb-phones never have used any text or even used the phone to access the internet. I went from a Windows computer to an iMac. I was going to get a iPhone but $500.00 plus is a little steep. I just got 2 Samsung Galaxy Proclaim phones. I like them but they too have a very steep learning curve.
I was trying to transfer contacts from my LG cellphone and the battery wet dead so I guess I will let it charge overnight. I just don't want the battery to get a memory like some batteries in Amateur Radio's do.
Anyway enough of that I will look forward to browsing this forum.
