Help Invalid Destination Address Please correct the recipient(s) or they will not receive the message.

I was in the middle of deleting a text message string when I apparently received a new message.

Now I have a new message notification stuck and when I click on on my message app, nothing new is there and in my drop down notification screen I can see the notification and when I click on it I see "Invalid Destination Address Please correct the recipient(s) or they will not receive the message."

I click "clear" and it goes away only to return and on my main screen it always says "1 message" as well as being on my locked screen swipe panel.

I have removed the battery repeatedly.

How do I clear this notification on a message that is not really there?

I have solved my own problem and thought I would share the only solution that worked.

Download the "Reset Unread SMS" app from the market and run it.
