Invalid IMEI

I purchased a galaxy note 3 clone last week. I did a factory reset and it says invalid IMEI. Ive tried turials on youtube and had some one at a phone place to look at it. Ive did *#06# it still says invalid imei. I did not save files before resetting phone. ive bought the phone online and tried to contact the person that sold it to me multiple times, no luck. is there a way i can get a new imei number?
 
First, You are taking a chance buying these "clones"
Most of the time they are junk. They are often built with faulty software and hardware.
That being the reason they are so cheap.
The only thing you can do is contact your manufacturer for help.
(As far as I know)
