Help Invisible files

Does anyone else find that many files you download can't be accessed - or even seen - through the phone itself or by browsing the contents on a computer until you've rebooted the phone?

I'll often download a new podcast, and open up my MP3 player app to find that it's nowhere to be seen. There must be a better solution than rebooting every day? While we're on the subject, wouldn't it be nice to have an actual reboot button?

Thanks. I think it would happen with all of them because the files are hidden even in Windows explorer or whatever the Linux equivalent is called. I particularly notice it in the default Android music player and Soul Movie, but probably only because I use those many times a day. Forcing the app to stop and restart doesn't work unfortunately.

I'm not sure what "stop and restart" means. I was suggesting going to the running apps display ... deleting it by swiping to the right ... and the invoking the app again.

Some apps have data lists that are built each time the app is started from scratch.

Yep, done that and it doesn't achieve anything. What I meant was I've gone into the apps section of settings and chosen to 'force stop' the app and then open it up again from the desktop/dashboard. I assumed it would be akin to killing a program with the task manager and more likely to succeed, but apparently not.
