Help Ios and android apps

Hey guys just wanted to ask something. I have an ipodtouch and ive got some cool paid games on there and i am getting a new nexus 7 very soon i wanted to know if it is possible to somehow transfer those games to my new nexus 7 so i dont have to buy them again ps my nexus 7 is going to be my main mobile gaming device :)

Thx

ThatOneRearEnd's answer is accurate but to provide a little more explanation, games and apps that run on the iOS OS used on the iPod Touch are not compatible with the Android OS of the Nexus 7. Just as programs that are written for Mac PC's won't run on Windows PCs.

You MIGHT be able to contact the developer of the game and see if they have an Android version of the game you wish to transfer and ask if they would let you "trade" the IOS version for the Android version. I kinda, sorta doubt that a developer would do that but you could always try.

The easiest explanation is that iTunes is essentially a competitor to Google Play. You'll have to pay for (unless they were free anyway) the apps you want on your N7.

You wouldn't expect to switch from an XBox 360 to a PS3 and simply be handed all the games you had on the XBox for your PS3 would you?

This is why many people feel locked in to the ecosystem of their choice - because they have bought into it and spent money on apps over a few years in many cases.

The 2 apps are minecraft and plants vs zombies is it worth it to buy it again to add it to my "gaming" library? Because i play them quite alot so ill have to keep swiching device to play different games. What is ur guys opinion?

Someone told me that he got a 25 $ thing to the playstore when he first booted up his nexus is that true? And wat are the best free games on android that u recomend?

Yes, I would buy them. Especially if you are happy with Android and think you will carry on with Android devices in the future. Remember, you can download all of your apps onto multiple and future devices from Google Play.

Welcome to Android and the Nexus!

No you won't be able too, but you could use the Google Play store to see if there are comparable ones available. You probably won't find those apps on Google Play, but like I said, you might be able to get something similar.

you might want to wait on plants vs. zombies, their is supposed to be a second one coming out soon, and it is supposed to be free to play.
A fun game you might want to try is granny smith, I've gotten several friends into that game.
