iOS features that we could use on Android

I'm not saying iOS is better, on the contrary! I wouldn't be carrying around Nexus S if I thought iOS devices are better.
However, iOS does have features that I could use, probably you too.

1. Stream screen to TV or PC wirelessly
I tried to do this on PC with those ways that some people did. It worked - over cable, not wirelessly, in a 800x480 window, and it was so laggy!
Integrated or over custom apps, Android could really use this. It personally became boring turning on my old PC that is connected to my TV in my living room, connecting phone with cable and then waiting for it to copy all the images on Windows and then showing it via keyboard on the floor :( When I saw this on iOS I was surprised that there isn't one for Android.
Android, I believe in you :D

2. WiFi Sync
I tried DoubleTwist's sync and it nearly fried my phone, it overheated it to 46 degrees Celsius, I was scared as hell... Since then I am too scared to try any apps like that...

3. 3D-ish styles (not on iOS, would be cool)
You know that app SPB Shell Launcher 3D? I like it, but I don't like using it, because the idea of using non-native stuff to me is awful. This is why I dislike using alternative music apps and camera apps (but I love ROMs!). I think that 3D Earth spin on default launcher that tells weather and time on locations you tell it to would be cool.

There, my opinion :D Other than that, Android is the beast, I love it more than I did my iPhone !

Can't really comment on 1, it's not a feature I would use (or could see myself using), but that's just how I roll :p.

You can sync wirelessly with an app called MyPhoneExplorer, download the PC client and the market app, install both and you're set.

I know HTC's Sense overlay is 3D (to an extent), not sure about Touchwiz or MotoBlur. So what you want is there, kind of.

Why are you against using launchers/alternative apps etc? Customisation is what Android is all about! :)

Fwiw, there were a lot of Android type features incorporated into iOS5. There's a running joke around these parts "iFans call it iOS5, we call it Android 1.6"

1. Samsung has an integrated app called All Share for wireless streaming to TV. It works great. So mainly its just an app away.

2. WinAmp. No overheating issues, but of course you won't be using iTunes on your PC. Its iTunes that's the problem, not your phone.

3. No, I won't want an SPB shell native to my phone. Those 3D effects take up more battery and power.

Are you sure this feature works as you say it does? I know that Apple is fundamentally opposed to integration with non-Apple technologies. Connecting the MacBook to a non-Apple external display is impossible without an array of expensive adapters so this is kind of shocking if it actually works. I would assume it only works with Apple TV or Apple displays.

If it does, it would be great for watching League Pass games because games aren't blacked out on mobile devices.

Allshare only streams video files, you can't simply stream the whole screen. It's basically DLNA with samsung sprinkles. It's great when it works, but the codecs are restrictive - even if you have a SGS2 and a Samsung TV.
I just use the cable option. I was initially annoyed that it was better than wireless but it really doesn't matter - and you get to charge at the same time.

I only use Winamp pro, much more simple than the official Google Music app on ICS, but Launchers are different, it takes me time to adjust to one and when I try to use another one I just want the old one lol. I used many launchers and liked them at first but in the end I returned to the stock one lol :D

Is that All Share integrated in TouchWiz or is it available for Vanilla Android (I have Google Nexus S, no TouchWiz, Motoblur or any custom launcher on it).

I will check those apps out, thanks for your advices! :D

1) For me the obvious are:

Working Cisco VPN and reliable working Push IMAP Email. To this day, android is still a toy gadget for me while my iOS devices are used for "work."
The Cisco VPN was supposed to be added to ICS but it is still borked/broken.

For others, here is a list I think wold be good:

1) A Photo management system with the ability to sort, organize photos.

I use my iPad to show client images. On Android, you can only sort by alphabetical file name, by size, or by date.
You would have to rename all your photos in alphabetical order if you want to make a photo-slideshow presentation.

2) Set Gallery to hide folder/ignore. I hate seeing album art, and application icons in my gallery.
Sure, I can do the .hide folder trick but the gallery app is essentially useless. Or, at least the option of ONLY viewing the DCIM camera roll.

3) Set geo-location services per application. iOS lets you set which individual application can turn on the GPS.
In Froyo, Gingerbread and even ICS, I always have to go to the system settings to enable GPS before I use the nave.

4) Consistent UI .
For example, some apps use the clipboard and scissor icon on the top bar in ICS. And in some apps, it is at the bottom. In other case, you don't get icons but the actual text - CUT, COPY, PASTE.

This is annoying. Mattias Duarte was suppose to be the guy who cleans up the UI and he isn't doing a good job of it.
What is with the three square menu icon for everything that isn't a menu action. E.G. Reply ALL /Forwarding in an email message.

5) Email annoyance.
I'd like to see my attachments inline and not launch an external app

6) Custom notification per app. I like the ability to have a pop-up notification or the unintrusive type.

7) Individual notifications in the lock screen. I like how iOS will show you all your email messages and you can slide on just one and it takes you that email.

8) Better Music management
a) have a star system instead of a hands/up hands down.
b) smart playlists..
E.G. Make a playlist of all songs that I bought in the last 2 months that is classical and that I haven't played yet.
Make a party mix of all the music that I played more than 6 times that has recently been released in the last 2 years that have a genre of rock, pop, and dance.

9) Restrictions
