IOS type notifications

The people who cry about TW are clearly in the minority and it's good to take tech blogs less than seriously as most are nothing more than sensationalist junk. The sales spoke for themselves, as far as I'm concerned.

As far as I'm concerned, Samsung did copy a lot from iOS' look and feel as well as its user experience and stock apps/services; but that's an improvement considering what Google offers out of the box and allows you to avoid having to tinker with your phone to get basic features and usability improvements.

I'm starting to become convinced that Windows Phone will likely surpass [stock] Android in capabilities and polish before Google actually decides on a Design Language it will stick with for more than a year.

About the only design that I find Google doing well is their material design but even that seems largely inspired by TouchWiz to me, which might not attract hard core android fans but it does fill in the large gap in device UI for myself, at least my Nexus 10 won't seem like such a departure from my Galaxy Note 10.1

A lot of what Android L is adding has been done before by TouchWiz since the Galaxy S3, such as lock screen notifications.
