Help Ip address issues -- zte score m

Wi-Fi settings-->advanced> IP ADDRESS: unavailable
I cannot connect to a Wi-Fi network... it tries, stating "obtaining IP address" then disconnects
The same happens when others try to connect to my hotspot.
Please can someone explain why this might be happening and if or how possible to fix?
I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!

Sorry for the delay-the job has me working mucho OT
A few 's for you:

• Is the phone rooted
• Have you downloaded any new apps recently
• Have you factory reset the device and the issue still exists
