ip webcam yelp :/

so i decided to turn my ol' droid lying around into a security cam via ip webcam and ispyconnect. it all works well enough but the question i have is how do i blacken out or turn off the screen without shutting down the app? would be nice to cut down on unnecessary heat and power draw.
