Iphone 4 switching to Android; Best ROM?

Oxygen955

Lurker
ok had every iphone since the original. Jailbroken since day 1 :D
AT$T just got on my case for tethering (ya I've used <4GB in 6 months) so i'm going to move to sprint (ending my 5 iphone plan)

I think i've decided on the S2 over the evo3d. I intend to root the phone, but i was wondering what people thought the best ROM was?

Can someone tell me whether they like Revolution Vs Villain vs CyanogenMod best? (seemed to be the most popular)

So the how to is?
1) root phone
2) install custom ROM-->suggestions??
3)Enjoy

To be honest you can't really go wrong with either villain or revolution as they are both stable and have good battery life. Revolution probably gets out for me as it's more customizable. I haven't tried cyanogen as there isn't a stable version yet, just nightlies. These are supposed to be ok but they all have a few problems.

The modding of Villain is a PITA. You have to install 2 parts for the mod to work. After installing part 1, the phone constantly suffers from force closes making it almost impossible to install part 2 (I tested 3 mods and it took 45 min to install the second part every time)

Revolution is the way to go at the moment.

just took one out of the box, you can un-install apps. so if you want to stay vanilla and get rid of att, you can. but im an overclocker.
