iPhone 5

Iphones are easier to use in the same way an Abacus is easier to use than a Cray mainframe computer.

Huh? What? Bad analogy, I should think. I can train you to use an abacus but there is no way I could train you to run a Cray. Well, I could after I find out where the on button is located.

Here's another review. I usually go there to read up on what's available in the market.

I find their reviews rather objective too.

I know IPhone5 as a phone is nice, but would be nicer without the Apple imposed restrictions. Remember the pull down notification everyone said was copied off android by Apple. I had a friend who JB their IPhone and already had it months before Apple. Apple is not just playing catchup to Android now.... Its playing catchup to what jailbreakers are doing with their IPhones.

There are a couple of things that will make me not choose IPhone. The microSD, the file system that is like a PC, and a bigger screen. Apple might eventually create a 4.5" screen, but the other two would be pretty unlikely, and JB can't help in that respect either. Its why I hope the Nexus next year (when my contract finish) will put back the microSD so I got more phones to consider.

Cheers

Reading that review I was curious about one thing; they emphasise that the important thing is that you are able to use the Iphone with one hand. So my question is, what are they doing with the other hand?

Can't answer that, this is a family forum lol.;)

I was at the Apple Store in Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, Virginia two days ago to check on a new iMac for my wife. While there, I asked the guy working with us (on a whim) if they had any iPhone 5's in stock available for purchase.

Much to my surprise, they did and we proceeded to upgrade my wife's iPhone 4 to a new iPhone 5. It took about 10 minutes to complete the activation and purchase.

There are a lot of folks selling the new iPhone on Craigslist at ridiculously high prices here in the Washington DC area, so I posted this same note there and thought I would share here on the forum.

Only because I see many on areas of this website wanting to buy the iPhone5 and on Craigslist wanting to buy and others wanting to sell them at obscene prices. I just received a response on CL where I posted this same info asking how to get a new iPhone from Apple.
