Good question, and I think the move over will vary from user to user. I am not a bif fan how IOS does things. Far prefer android. Some of that may be that I am more used to android, but overall I have used ios and it really wasn't for me. I didn't find much learning curve difference between the two, although I think Android does have a bit more learning curve since IOS is set up by default to have less options and be simpler. You know how they like to say - "it just works". It does, but IMO it just works in a very boring way that leaves me feeling like I used a bland, generic device.

I suggest going to a store and using a demo of the Note 3. The N4 will be the same general UI, nomenclature and function.

That IMO is the best way to test it :)

Me too!!! I had a Blackberry Torch & got a Note 1. I loved it but I missed the physical keyboard so it went back. Excited that I won't have to wait for a jailbreak to mod my awaited Pink Note 4 which is what I love to do. Really afraid of trying to learn Android OS & how to customize. Sick of Apple telling me what I can & can't do with my phone that I bought!!!

I never say hello to iphone or ipad or anything Apple. :-)

It didnt take me much to learn Android. I came from Windows Mobile. First think is .apk is the file it use to install. Install a File Explorer. Rest is just connection setting. Its just Unix, like what is on Apple too.

Note 3 was my first Android phone and I have been using it since it came out. To be honest I'm now bored of the Touchwiz UI. My next phone will probably be an iPhone. Did not like the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus AT ALL. When Apple manages to make it going in the phablet game, I may look forward to iPhone 7. Any suggestion from you instead? XD

Why not experiment with different launchers to change things up. I also hate TouchWiz and normally use Nova launcher but for the last few months I have been using the Google Experience Launcher and really love the simplicity and Google Now integration.

I tried the K launcher, Yahoo! Aviate launcher and also the GO Launcher. I last used the Google Now Launcher (Google Experience Launcher) a week ago and kinda liked it but I wanted to free space on my phone so uninstalled it. It was smooth and not at all laggy. By the way, I LOVE the Google Now integration for Google Chrome on the desktop :D

Me too. I use voice input to my phone and computer more and more all the time. Google Now has repeatedly surprised me with useful information at is the right time. For instance, I rarely use the subway but the last time I needed to use it, before I could search for a train schedule, the times and train number for me to get home were already there in Google Now.

One other point about Touch Wiz on the Note 4, regardless of how ugly TW is, the ultra low power mode is a feature that I have wanted on my phone going back to the Motorola Razr I had ten years ago.

Definitely! Ultra-Power Saving Mode and the Download Booster were introduced on the S5 and now comes with Kitkat on the Note 3! I did not update though, still using 4.3 coz of all those issues with Kitkat and I don't want any of that happening to my phone. Although I am an update geek, first time a NO.

IMO, 4.3 was the high point of Android. Stable, efficient and pre-sd card write killing.

Exactly, 4.3 never had any issues unlike Nexus 5 and other Nexus devices having issues the FIRST time they came out, even with STOCK ANDROID. I never have had any bugs on my phone. I believe one must update their device for as long as it is for stability and perfomance improvements but never update OSs coz the phone they make is well suited with the OS it comes out with. Kitkat may be able to run on high end phones like Kitkat but bugs? No way. Android L will suit devices made FOR IT!

My N3 is still on the original 4.3 stock ROM. I rooted and froze the OTA apk first thing. The phone is stable, works great, and I really don't trust updates anymore, so I froze OTA's. 4.4 really gimped things like SD card usage, which makes so little sense. I am a bit iffy on the N4 more for 4.4 than anything honestly. I am also a bit worried about root - I absolutely must be rooted, for several reasons, and am worried how hard it will be to root. Besides those worries it's pretty obvious the N4 will be a very nice upgrade however, at least IMO.
