iPhone can't text me?

I replaced my iPhone with a Sprint Note 3. I have friends with iPhones who changed me in their contacts from "iPhone" to "mobile" and are texting me OK. I have one friend who can not get me 'switched' in her contacts from "iPhone" to "mobile." She has tried deleting my contact info and reentering it, and powering off/on. It will set me as "mobile," but her texts to me will still be blue (like she was texting an iPhone). I never receive the text. She can receive a text from me, but if she replies to it, I never receive the reply. Has anyone seen this before?

That sounds like an iOS issue. There may be someone on here who can help however you may have more luck on an iPhone forum.
