iPhone to G3 question

Not sure if anyone has the answer to this but I just got my G3 and still use a me email address along with my gmail as well.

When I enter my me address info into the settings it keeps rejecting it telling me my password or user name is incorrect. I verify that it is correct on icloud and have no issues signing in. Im starting to wonder if apple made this not functionalble on Andriod phones?

Where specifically are you trying to input your "Me" address? The Google services usually work only with a Google Account, this may be a Google Email or any other email addresses which have been linked to a Google account, otherwise it won't work.

By this I mean, you can't activate your Android with a non-google account, such as a ME account.

Ive been entering it on the home screen when I click email. It then asks me for my email settings. I also tried under settings, accounts and syncs, email and still no luck. It strange.

I just tested it with a live account, and an at&t email account and it all works. Wow, I guess Apple really made thier emails not work on any other devices.

Its been so long since I made my account I can't remember, but do you not have to register your email address as a Google account before you can use it?

No, I tried my others like live account and at&t email accounts and they work. I am really starting to think Apple is not allowing there email on any other devices. When I tried the G2 last year it worked fine.
