Iphone to Verizon...official???

how is that any different than the ad campaigns where microsoft and apple slam each other but office is still available for mac and itunes still works on windows?

you go where the business is. as soon as its kosher for apple to do it, whether that be contract issues, manufacturing costs or whatever, you better believe the iphone will be on multiple carriers on day one.

Normal people do. But Steve Jobs isn't a normal person.

Normal people, in a normal company admit that there is a reception problem with their phone. Normal people, in a normal company attempt to make amends.

Normal people, in a normal company believe that they will lose business if they don't.

Steve jobs is not a normal person, and Apple is not a normal company. They honestly believe that consumers won't care, as long as they make it, people will buy it.

LOL fox news saying Verizon getting the iPhone..... NOT.
They probably did not say that, but they probably did say there was a 'rumor' about it.

AT&T having an exclusivity agreement until 2012 really puts the nail in the coffin too, unless they tore that contract up.

Verizon is pushing the droids too hard for this to be anything more than a fantasy and wishful thinking from Apple fanboys.
I feel bad for you guys, I had to lend my Nexus to someone to make a call yesterday that had an iPhone because they could not hold the call. (LOL)
He was embarrassed but I did not rub it in, did not even mention it.
I just scoffed at AT&T's crappy coverage and we left it at that
(Because it's really not a fault of the iPhone - he had an iPhone 3.. no no it's not the antenna :P)

I don't think that Verizon is willing to pay kickbacks to Apple. I think that was what sent Apple to AT&T in the first place.

I also don't think Steve Jobs wants the iPhone on Verizon after the slew of attack adds that Verizon has put out that basically brought the Android family of phones into real competition with the iPhone.

I think that Steve Jobs will try to keep the iPhone off of Verizon for as long as possible.

I agree, It will be interesting to see what Apple "Demands" from Verizon to have the Iphone. Originally Apple wanted a chunk of each persons bill, each month from those who would have had an Iphone with Verizon. They get a good kick back from AT&T already, I believe AT&T pay Apple $600 for each Iphone sold. Its big money out there, lets see what happens eh...
