Hi I'm a Newbie. Joined the forum to learn more about Androids. My wife and I both have Iphone 3Gs' with Orange which are coming up for replacement. Dependant on Apps I think we may go Android next time.

May I ask what are your reasons for choosing an Android device?

Hope to see you on Android Richierichcrx.
I too have converted from iPhone 3GS to my beautiful Samsung Galaxy SII, beats the pants of the iPhone 4 and soon the iPhone 5. Love it to bits. No restriction on Android like you have on Apple. Also we have F L A S H and web browsing is a wow.
You will not regret moving to an Android Handset whatever your choice maybe.

andoid is the best smartphone option out now, why? because you don't have to burn a hole in your pocket just to get the android experience. iphones don't come in many prices like androids do. I got my lg optimus m (froyo phone) for $88 brand new. not trying to be a fanboy, I have an ipod touch. android can do more things and has alot more free apps at a lower price.
Welcome! Congratulations on having the smarts to get away from the mainstream, over rated iPhone. I was given an iPhone 4 last year, but detested the fact that 1. It was so common, everyone had it. 2. Its so boring and plain 3. It wasn't android! I recently scooped up some cash and bought the oh so amazingly incredible Samsung Galaxy S2. Android ftw!
