iPhone wall charger compatible?

I've got an iPhone wall AC charger here at work that's left over from my Apple days. I've been charging my Nexus using the USB port on my laptop but am curious if I can plug the cable into that wall charger.

Will it damage my phone?

good question, i have noticed that the USB charger from the laptop sucks though...

Sucks horribly. I've had it plugged in for about an hour and it's gone up 16%.

I just plugged it in and it didn't burst into flames. I'll let you know how it turns out.

If it says 5v 1A (or 1000mA) on it, it will work. I often use a Nokia one that's 5v 1200mA.
