Iptables configuration file

Hi, I have now searched the web and my phone for two days trying to find a configuration file for IP tables, but with no lock. I know you can download gui programs to controls IP tables, but I would rather like to have my iptables.rules file that I use on my computers.

Anyone know where this file is or where to create it in order for it to be used?
