IRIS Application keeps force closing..

I have a LG Axis, which should work fine with IRIS. I've installed the app several times and when I launch it the loading screen appears and I get the error: "The application iris. (process com.dexetra.iris) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." and I get "Force Close". I've installed all the required software for it and I tried Speakoid Assistant and it works fine. What can I do to fix this???

Any help is appreciated!
 
Uninstall and enjoy your life. That app sucks, plain and simple. I feel cheated that Siri is SO useful and Iris is equally as worthless. They touted it to be 'Siri created in a matter of hours' yet it quite literally does NOTHING that Siri does. Can't set/edit appointments. Can set an alarm. Can't really do anything. It tries to run a web search for just about everything you say so as far as I'm concerned it's worthless. I suffered through update after update and nothing actually improved the program but added stupid features that nobody cares about. You want to impress me? Then make the app useful the way Siri is. It's a joke that such a broken app is Android's only answer to Siri. Kind of sums it up if you ask me. Can't anyone do a better job than this? I wish a better design studio had taken the name 'Iris' because that's about the only clever piece of this app IMO.

Get Jeannie by Pannous or Vlingo instead. Or Speaktoit. Works better than Iris. Iris is possibly the worst Siri clone I've seen.
 
There's also Personal Assistant, which seems to work well for the most part. I only played around with it for a few hours, but it was able to keep up with most everything I asked it to do.
 
I have Vlingo and Speaktiot and they work fine. I like Speaktiot too. I mainly wanted Iris for the fun aspect, kinda like playing with Cleverbot lol. Any ideas as to why it's not working?
 
No I don't since a few minutes with it was enough for me to decide uninstallation. You can talk to Jeannie and she's more responsive. Try her out, maybe she can replace your cleverbot-Iris connection. Or maybe try Simsimi. LOL.
