Is 4mbps enough to stream netflix HD?

Hey guys, im about to switch to cricket and they limit 3g (HSPA+) to 4mbps, would that be enough for 720p netflix streaming? The reason i ask is i can get a used moto g (non lte) on craigslist for 70 bucks, the LTE version cricket has is 149.00 (LTE is limited to 8mbps, im sure this is enough for netflix). Im not sure that the LTE model is worth double the price to me if i can stream netflix to my phone fine on 4mbps (netflix is the most bandwidth intensive thing i do on my phone).

Any info appreciated.
 
Darn i could have sworn i read it was 4mbps somewhere lol. Oh well, guess ill be rolling with the LTE one from cricket for 149.99. 50 bucks cheaper than the LTE version on amazon, decent deal i suppose. Kate do you know if cricket unlocks phones you purchase from them after being a customer for a certain period of time?
