Is anyone else secretly pleased about Verizon's tiered data plans?

I know I am a terrible person for feeling this way, and I'm probably going to hell, but their new data plans makes ATT's look good. Almost. Anyway, if I had Verizon, my phone bill would be gigantic. I always go over my data allowance. Usually 2 gigs over. It sucks for new Verizon customers though.

Not sure why that would please you to be honest (unless you own stock or something) ;)

Ultimately, I'm glad people have choices. :D

Not at all. Not when it means AT&T might increase their data tiers to match Verizon. *sigh* Why is it that cellular carriers don't appear to want to compete to give you the lowest prices? Instead, they increase prices to match their competitors.

Actually as a loyal At&t customer, I wish Verizon, T-Mobile & Sprint all offered unlimited plans for $25/month, then the competition would force At&t to give up on their tiered plans. Instead the opposite will happen and all unlimited plans will go away
