Is the webtraffic always encrypted when surfing with an Android phone? Are there any risks for being "packed sniffed"?

It's "packet sniffed". not "packed sniffed". There's always that chance if you're on the internet. If the site you go to is https://, rather than http://, the chances are greatly reduced, but the only thing that's absolutely certain is that once you die you can't come back to life. Anything else is, at best, only "pretty sure".
