Is Google Location History Any Good ?

Tried this for the first time today.
Mostly it seemed OK but for two days in September it put me, or one of my devices, in London when I was over 200 miles away!
(It had my correct places too, though).
This was very disappointing.
Anybody else having trouble (or success) with it ?

I live in the Googlesphere, (meaning I use all Google everything) and have for years.

I've found location history to be extremely accurate. If used properly it's of great value. Once I was issued an excessively high speeding citation by snail mail. By being able to prove I was over 600 miles away at that time and date, which was correct and true, I avoided jail time. Thanks Google!

To your issue, there's obviously something wrong. The first thought is the GPS module within your phone. Yet their are other applicable variables. You may want to reach out to your carrier as a start.
